The 2016 Adirondack Mountain Club trail project season brought many successes. A total of 364 volunteers and 16 professional trail crew members put in a combined 15,584 hours of work. Notable projects included Kaaterskill Falls, Poke-O-Moonshine, and the Avalanche Pass Trail.
Volunteers and professional trail crew members worked diligently to ensure that the trails were made safe for your use. The crews patrolled 123.6 miles of trails, put in 191 rock steps, placed 2298 square feet of rock turnpikes, completed 143 bog bridges, and accomplished much more.
