I Am The Adirondacks
I Am The Adirondacks was created to evoke a sense that each of us is a part of the diversity of the Adirondack Park. Going into the wilderness is about leaving the everyday behind, being absorbed in the flow of nature – venturing into the spectacular and finding wonder in the details…
I Am The Adirondacks is based on an inspirational poem written by Miriam Davis Kashiwa, in which the Adirondacks speaks in its own voice to introduce visitors to the legendary beauty and natural mystique of the region. The music for this program was a collaborative effort by Adirondack folk musicians, Dan Berggren, Dan Duggan, and Peggy Lynn, and composer/musician Casey Fillaci, who orchestrated the final score.
Widescreen format. Run time approximately 30 minutes.
