This is an easy hike to a magnificent panoramic view of South Meadows and the Great Range. From the Loj, drive approximately one mile (0.6 km) back toward Route 73. Park along Adirondack Loj Road or near the start of Meadow Lane, the first dirt road on the right. The trailhead is on the left about 0.3 (0.5 km) mile down Meadow Lane. The first mile of the hike is mostly flat until past a large beaver pond. Then there is a moderate climb to the summit ridge, where a series of ledges offer views to the south, southeast and southwest.
