ADK’s strength lies in its communities. Across New York and beyond, our regional chapters bring together passionate outdoor enthusiasts to hike, paddle, volunteer, and advocate for wild places — all while building strong local communities.
Adirondak Loj
Supporting ADK’s Heart Lake Program Center. The Adirondak Loj chapter does not lead any activities, instead focusing on identifying key projects and initiatives at Heart Lake.
Albany-Schenectady
ADK's Albany and Schenectady Chapters merged in 2025, combining the strengths of each organization to create ADK community in the greater Albany area.
Algonquin
Representing the Plattsburgh region.
Binghamton
Representing Binghamton.
Black River
Creating an ADK community in Jefferson and Lewis Counties, including the eastern Lake Ontario shoreline and the western edge of the Adirondacks. Activities are primarily held locally.
Cold River
Creating an ADK community in the center of the Adirondack Park, from Chestertown to North Creek and north to Long Lake and Newcomb. Activities are primarily held locally.
Finger Lakes
Representing Ithaca and Elmira.
Genesee Valley
The Genesee Valley Chapter welcomes members throughout the Rochester metropolitan area and the surrounding five-county area of upstate New York.
Glens Falls-Saratoga
Representing Glens Falls, Saratoga, and surrounding areas.
