Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) finished up its Three Seasons at Heart Lake school outreach program last week.  ADK educators provide environmental and outdoor education to nine Adirondack 4th grade classrooms three times during the school year.  Each classroom then visits Heart Lake for an outdoor educational program.  This Spring, ADK educators were able to give binoculars out to our participants so that they could observe the seasonal changes and new growth at Heart Lake while developing mapping and orienteering skills.

Thank you to Northern New York Audubon for providing funding to the Summer Naturalist Intern program to purchase Eagle Optics binoculars to help students observe the many changes of spring.
