Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) has a new facility available for rent at its Heart Lake Program Center outside of Lake Placid, NY. Tyler Cabin, built in the 1970’s, has previously housed staff over the past couple of decades. This past year, ADK completely renovated this facility and it is now available to the public as a rental. Tyler cabin is a two bedroom cabin with a beautiful view of Heart Lake. The cabin accommodates a maximum of six people with one bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with two twin beds, and a pull out sofa in the living room. There is also a kitchen/dining area and full bathroom. The beds are provided with pillows and linens but not towels. The cabin has a kitchen with all necessary kitchenware, stove, sink, and fridge. There is an outside picnic area with fire pit and easy access to the hiking trails and Heart Lake. Rates for Tyler Cabin range from $259-$299 per night.

A big thank you to Kevin McDonough and our maintenance team for facilitating all of the renovations. A thank you also goes out to our dedicated volunteers who helped with the project and to Brendan Wiltse Photography for donating a few of his images to decorate the Tyler Cabin.
