The national Calendar Marketing Association (CMA) has bestowed a Silver Award on ADK’s 2020 Calendar, the most recent of a significant number of CMA awards for ADK’s calendar over the last fifteen years. ADK received the Silver Award in the Best Nonprofit category.
CMA celebrates the artistic and technical talents of calendar publishers internationally and has hosted the competition for 31 years. The organization was founded in 1989 to represent the interests of publishers, designers, printers and other professionals involved in marketing retail and custom calendars.
ADK extends special thanks to the photographers and illustrators whose images have graced the pages of our calendars for many years. Focusing on water bodies in the Adirondack Park, the 2020 ADK Calendar includes the work of photographers Mark Bowie, Zack Clothier, Johnathan Esper, Russ Hartung, Carl Heilman II, Joanne Kennedy, and Ralph Schulte, and of natural science illustrator Therese Brosseau.
Stay tuned! Our 2021 calendar will be released later this spring. The theme is “special places” and will feature a fantastic array of landscape photos. See below for a sneak-peak of the cover.
