Program Locations

ADK Heart Lake Program Center, Lake Placid

The Heart Lake Program Center serves as the classroom for many of ADK’s North Country programs. The Adirondak Loj is a full-service wilderness lodge located on the shores of Heart Lake, offering accommodations for "package participants" in our 18-person co-ed bunkroom. Dinner, breakfast, and trail lunches are included with most packages. Linens and towels are provided. Courses take place right in the Loj dining room. Family bunkrooms, private rooms, campsites, lean-tos, and cabins are also available on the ADK property. In addition, the Wiezel Trails Cabin (a 16-person heated cabin with kitchen and classroom space situated on the Heart Lake Property, adjacent to the High Peaks Wilderness trailhead) is available for use during the fall, winter, and spring. Johns Brook Lodge and Grace Camp, Keene Valley

Accessible only by a 3.5-mile hike, Johns Brook Lodge and its outlying cabins serve as the perfect rustic base for programs in the Johns Brook Valley and for those willing to test their skills in the Great Range. Grace Camp is a 6-person heated cabin located near Johns Brook Lodge. It is the perfect base camp for exploring the Adirondack's Great Range. For contact information click here.

ADK Member Services Center, Lake George

A short distance from Lake George itself, ADK Member Services Center is located just off of exit 21 of I-87, the Adirondack Northway. Serving as a meeting location for several field programs, the Member Services Center serves as a classroom with easy access to nearby recreation areas and trails.
