March  7th - 9th Winter Family Weekend II
Come join us with your family at the Adirondak Loj for round two of our Winter Family Weekends. A description of the weekend’s activities is shown above. Cost: $140/$195 kids/adults, $155/$215 non-member kids/adults; includes instruction, meals and lodging.


March  14-16th Adirondak Loj Winter Basecamp
Based out of ADK’s Adirondak Loj, this 3-day program will offer great winter day hikes in the mountains surrounding the Heart Lake Program Center with the luxury of returning to the Adirondak Loj each evening for a hot meal or a trip into town. Cost: $218/$239; includes lodging, group meals, and equipment.

March  22nd Map & Compass Fundamentals
This course offers an introduction to the fundamentals of map reading, identification of terrain features, compass use, and triangulation. Once learned, these skills will enable participants to feel more confident with backcountry travel. Cost: $63/$69; includes instruction and use of equipment.

March  29th-30th Wilderness First Aid w/ Wilderness Medical Associates
This intense two-day (16 hour) workshop will teach students how to deal with medical emergencies when they are miles from help and dialing 911 is not an option. Through hands-on scenarios and lecture structure, students will learn to assess patients while becoming certified in wilderness first aid, CPR, and anaphylaxis training. Class time will be spent both inside and out, rain, shine, or snow, (just like in real life!), so please be prepared for unpredictable Adirondack weather.
Cost: $198 includes instruction and materials. Package: $272 includes instruction, materials, meals, and lodging for 2 nights.
