APRIL Education Programs - 2008

 

April 10th-13th Advanced Wilderness First Aid w/ Wilderness Medical Assoc.
This intense four-day (36 hour) course will teach students how to deal with medical emergencies when they are miles from help and dialing 911 is not an option. Through hands-on scenarios and lecture structure, students will learn to assess and treat patients while becoming certified in advanced wilderness first aid, CPR, and anaphylaxis training. Class time will be spent both inside and out, rain, shine, or snow, (just like in real life!), so please be prepared for unpredictable Adirondack weather.
Cost: $349 includes instruction and materials. Package: $497 includes instruction, materials, meals, and lodging for 4 nights.
