Adirondack Mountain Club 2007 Calendar Wins Silver Award from the Calendar Marketing Association
Lake George, NY--The Adirondack Mountain Club 2007 Calendar has been given a Silver Award for Best Non-Profit Calendar by the Calendar Marketing Association. The award was given as part of the Association’s annual National Calendar Awards competition. It is the twelfth award ADK has received for its calendar in fifteen years.
This year’s edition of the calendar features beautiful landscape images from the Adirondack Park. These are complemented by smaller images of wildlife at home in the wilderness of the Adirondacks.
ADK Publications staff Andrea Masters, Ann Hough, and Nicole Farrell produced the calendar.
ADK has just released the Adirondack Mountain Club 2008 Calendar. Purchase of this and other publications, such as Adirondack Alpine Summits: An Ecological Field Guide and No Place I’d Rather Be: Wit and Wisdom from Adirondack Lean-tos, helps support ADK’s programs in conservation, education, and recreation. Also available are other hiking, canoeing, rock-climbing, and cross-country skiing guides; natural history guides; and cultural and literary histories of the Adirondack and Catskill parks.
