Upper Hudson Valley Watercolor Society’s Miniature Group

Works by the Upper Hudson Valley Watercolor Society’s Miniature Group will be on display from Nov. 3 through Dec. 31 at the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) Bookstore, 814 Goggins Road, Lake George (off Northway Exit 21). Store hours: 8:30 AM- 5 PM, Monday through Saturday. Phone: 518-668-4447.

Lazy River

The Upper Hudson Valley Watercolor Society was started in 1989 by a group of artists from the Adirondack Region. In 2004 a sub-group, the Watercolor Society’s Miniature Group, exhibited for the first time at the annual fall exhibit at Tannery Pond. The criterion for the Miniature Group follows that of the Watercolor Society in that all works are transparent or opaque watercolor or acrylic, but the image size cannot exceed 5 inches by 7 inches. Come and see this wonderful exhibit and make it part of your holiday shopping.

Holiday Showcase

The ADK Bookstore will present a Holiday Showcase of Books and Gifts, Nov. 1-Dec. 31.

You will find great ADK publications along with other books on the Adirondacks. Locally made artisan gifts will include Bear-Man Sauces and Rubs, Saratoga Sweets, Boulder Cove Wind Chimes, Wallace’s Maple Syrup and Adirondack Candles.
