Guided Trips and Workshops
Adirondack Mountain Club's guided trips, outdoor workshops and skills courses are designed to help you explore the wonders of wild lakes and waterways, high alpine ridges, rugged backcountry wilderness, and pristine forests while learning the skills and ethics necessary for an enriching experience. ADK promotes education and safe outdoor recreation consistent with the character of the Adirondacks. Youth, family, and intergenerational programs of varying length are offered.

Guided Hikes and Backpacking TripsJoin us for a wide variety of
guided hikes and backpacking trips in winter and summer. Whether you are working on your 46 high peaks or just looking for a group of people to hike with, our New York State licensed guides will not only get you from point A to B but will also teach you along the way. If our schedule does not work for you we also offer
custom guided hikes.
Skills Workshops
ADK's Education department offers a wide variety of skills courses from entry level courses like Beginner Backpacking, Intro to Kayaking, Map and Compass Fundamentals to advanced programs like Wilderness First Responder, Guides License Training, and Leave No Trace Master Educator courses.
Paddling Programs
Come spend a day on the water with us! ADK offers a variety of paddling courses and trips that will help you experience the natural world from the water.

Wilderness First Aid CoursesThe Adirondack Mountain Club hosts Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder courses through Wilderness Medical Associates throughout the year. These courses will help you prepare for an emergency when you are miles from help.
