Seasonal Outings
The ADK Outings Committee coordinates several seasonal outings during the year.

Spring Outing
ADK Spring Outing is back. The 2013 Spring Outing will be held June 14-16 at SUNY Potsdam. Hiking, paddling, cycling, mountain biking, nature walks, historic tours, and more.

Paddle Outing spans a seven- to 10-day period, usually in July or August. Several trip-length options may be available. The day trips focus on a variety of canoe and kayak trips in the beautiful St. Regis Canoe Area of the Adirondacks. Paddle Outing is only open to ADK members.

Fall Outing moves around the Adirondacks and features day trips for hiking, canoeing/kayaking, and climbing peaks and fire towers in Wild Forest and Wilderness areas. This outing, over 50 years old and culminating in a Saturday evening banquet, has become an ADK tradition. The 2013 ADK Fall Outing will be held in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, Oct. 18-20.

Winter Outing
Winter Outing is usually held in the Tug Hill region of central New York, where the highest snowfalls in the state are recorded. The main focus is cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
