ADK's Johns Brook property is a haven for those who treasure quiet places and outdoor living, located in the midst of the Adirondack High Peaks.
Johns Brook Lodge
Johns Brook Lodge--known to many as JBL--is located in prime hiking country 3.5 miles from the nearest road, near Keene Valley, New York. JBL serves as a haven for those who treasure quiet places and outdoor living.
From the lodge, you and your family can explore some of the finest hiking in the East. With two family rooms and two coed bunkrooms, JBL can accommodate up to twenty-eight guests.
During summer months you'll be treated to hearty full-course meals thanks to the efforts of ADK's friendly JBL crew.
JBL is also open during the spring and fall on a caretaker basis. Bring your own food and a warm sleeping bag during these seasons.
In addition to JBL, ADK offers year-round facilities nestled deep in the Johns Brook Valley. Grace Camp and Camp Peggy O'Brien are true mountain cabins accessible by foot trails only. Or, bed down in a traditional Adirondack lean-to.
