HIKE – Tour of Hawk Creek (C)---E. Aurora  835-1905

A select group of lucky people will be able to tour this amazing place, and meet some of the animals being rehabilitated and protected.   Imagine a private look at an Andean condor, the world’s largest flying bird or at our country’s national symbol, the bald eagle!  Tours are led by Hawk Creek  naturalists who will share natural histories and personal stories.  The tour is conducted outdoors on a gravel walk so proper clothing and footwear are a must!  Admission is $3.00.   This trip is being offered in conjunction with the Forest Elementary Nature Club and early registration is a must!|

Larry plans a survey of Natureview Park, a wilderness ten minutes from greater downtown Williamsville, 1200 acres of wild land just this year placed securely under the wing of the Western NY Land Conservancy. We will assess the state of the trail system and make recommendations for repair to damage done by ATV incursions and natures zealous attempts to repair itself. Meet at 9 am at Tim Hortons in Williamsville's Walker Center. Wear suitable hiking footwear and carry water, a whistle and a compass. It's easy to get lost.

DIRECTIONS: Rt 219 S to Armour-Duells exit.  Right at end of exit.  Right at next intersection onto Rt 277.
